I got rid of my Escalade. Tough decision, as I loved that vehicle. But after 10 years, it was aging, and our kids are all getting older with their own cars. So after over 2 decades of either Yukon’s, or the Escalade, I downsized into a smaller SUV.

Goodbye to the Caddy. “The Dark Knight” was a beast:

Hello to my new ride: BMW X3 AWD. Hasn’t gotten a nickname yet from the kids. ;)

Nice! How’s the ride compared to the Caddy?

The magnetic air ride suspension on the Escalade is amazing. Heads and tails the most comfy vehicle I’ve ever driven. I’ll miss it. The seats were also amazingly comfortable in it. The X3 doesn’t come close in those regards.

That said, the X3 has a peppy and sporty feel to it. I also like the X3 layout, and technology is much better in it. Finally, it handles and corners so tightly compared to the big ole Caddy. Those are nice characteristics that I’m enjoying.

Some nice rides there. Love the Renegade. We have Ski-doos ourselves. Where do you ride in the winter?

We have a place in Pittsburg NH and we also ride into Maine and Quebec gotta do something boating season is short in Northern NH

The Z06 looks fantastic. However, I am particularly impressed by that ’79 Z28. It looks amazing. Is it as immaculate as this one pictures appears to be? Interior? Very sharp looking classic 70’s muscle car. Very nice item.

Yes i have had the Z/28 for over 40 years -it has 31k original miles and is pretty much all original including paint.z28 interior.jpgz28 interior 2.jpgZ28 Floorboards.jpgIMG_0465.JPG

Love all of your toys..I had a 79 Z28 like that in the mid 80s coming out of HS mine was burgundy with same color strips Fisher T tops automatic my next toy is going to be a 78 Bandit TA some day soon.
Thanks!
I was 21 when I got this and had a plan to keep it. The car I had right before this one was a 75 Trans Am in silver with a burgundy interior. I was a blast, but ended up having rust problems from the previous owner driving it in the winter -we get about 120" of snow each year and they use tons of salt in our area. I would have loved a bandit too, but they were way more expensive than a striped Z/28.

That’s a gem for sure. And even better that its been yours this entire time. Too cool. Happy cruising.

Wasn't there a song written about that car
Love the red, spark plugs n gas are in my wheel house too

Prince ... one of my faves. I love his music. Sadly I’ll never see a concert in person.:(

Staying in the Polaris family.... we have Polaris Ranger 570-4 Premium Crew for getting to / from our community marina and driving around the community.
