ski Pole help!

Hi Everyone!

I just bought my first pontoon!

Bennington QXI 2575 2009.

One thing i cant find.... How is the ski pole coming up? Its integrated in the sunbed.

Please let me know!

I believe it should twist and pull up. If it hasn't been used, you might want to spray some liquid wrench towards the base (or an equivalent in the Netherlands). Welcome aboard.

Check. We tried to twist and pull, searched for a button (maybey it goes electronic or hydrolic).

But im gonna spray some wd40 and try to twist it!

See this thread, not sure it will help as it’s a newer boat, but I can’t imagine ski poles changing design much.... looks like to loosen, you turn clockwise ....

The ski pylon should be able to be pulled straight up without much difficulty, once up it needs a 1/4 turn to lock it into position. If you are having difficulty I would suggest lifting the sun deck, getting a better grip on it and try lifting it again. If that doesn't work, let a spray of penetrating oil soak in for awhile then try lifting the ski pylon.

I must say, on my previous Bennington with that style ski pole, it was VERY difficult to twist and lift the ski pole each time.
