I have a 20 sfv with a 90 hp Yamaha, with a Solis 14 x 11 prop and I'm only getting 5200 RPM WOT and 20 mph. Should I try lowering the pitch or is this what can be expected. This is with 4 adults aboard.

Any update , I'm curious ? I'm still having issues with mine.

Curious has anyone stored their Pontoon in a portable carport , like the one you can buy at harbor freight. I saw one that was 10x20.

Took my Benny in and after telling them I had contacted Bennington they are replacing the prop but they also had to get a new bemini top and replace the two from pedistools the plastic fitting broke. I've only had my Benny a month and I'm wondering if  I made the right choice.

I have a 40 hp Yamaha on my 2017 toon with a 11 3/8 prop I can only get to about 3200 RPM wot. Took it to the shop they said they put in a tub and got over 6000 rpm wot. Went to the lake same thing 3200 rpm. Need help.

That helps a lot taking my toon in to the shop tomorrow.

Under warranty...

Called Yamaha and they said to take it in should be hitting at least 6000 RPM. Just got it and off for repair. Thanks everyone for the advice.

1blderbob pager is just my last name with a r added. Hopefully someone can help I was hoping to at least go 15 mph .

New Bennington 168 sfe with a Yamaha 40hp. It won't go past 3000 rpm wot gps says only 8mph. Is this normal this is my first toon I had a bass boat before.
