We decided to go ahead and pull our boat out for some routine maintenance yesterday, but the season is definitely not over for us. Looking forward to swimming a bit more. The water temperature is still 81 degrees F.

Says the newly minted Michigan transplant! Must be nice to no longer have "boating season" as part of your lexicon. You'll have to carry us northerners through the winter with some posts and pictures of your endless summer boating adventures!Bummer so many are coming to the end of another season. Hopefully winter zips by fast and you're all back on the water in no time.
You went too far south.I'll do my best! But it's not all fun and games here. We have a lot of bugs, rain and I saw an email today that a 10ft alligator was spotted in our neighborhood canals.
YIKES!!I'll do my best! But it's not all fun and games here. We have a lot of bugs, rain and I saw an email today that a 10ft alligator was spotted in our neighborhood canals.
Pulled the boat Saturday and my “dock crew” came yesterday to take dock out. Sure looks different with it all gone from the lake :-( Colors starting to change so that’s something to see, but will be a long time til launch in the spring. We do like winter in Traverse City but will miss the boat.
So would I except that I know what follows. I'd say "enjoy the shorts"!I do miss a proper northern fall though.
