I was thinking of adding some interior leds but then thought.... what about bugs?

I know it looks great but is it better to keep everything dark?

Is there a color that doesn't attract bugs as much as say white leds?

thanks,

Royal

Black LEDs.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I leave mine on red and the bugs mostly stay away. Sometimes I see tiny little things right down by the lights, but they are only worried about flying into the lights, not bothering us.

Mine are the blue ice but have never had bugs be a problem in the least while on the water

I believe the dark yellow lights are the only true lights that bugs are not attracted to.

Kells, you must not know me very well. The bugs move faster than my night time cruising speed :p

I would think blue would attract them as that's kind of the color of those outdoor zappers are.

We've never been out at night to test ours, and the mosquitos eat Panthergirl up just around our house, let alone being out on the water.
