New Year, New Bennington, New Adventures!!

Dealer says the Mercury 350 arrived, but no word on the boat delivery, which means it has not yet shipped! Yikes. that's over 3 weeks sitting at Bennington, I know shipping is slow, but??? Sad, one of the primary purposes was to spend my Son's 2 week leave enjoying the lake after being away for 18 months in the Army - looks like we sit home instead. So Frustrating, especially when they delivered later build dates already. :( The ZERO transparency by Bennington has not made this an enjoyable process.

GREAT NEWS TODAY! My new Benny Landed at the Dealer yesterday after waiting almost a month for a ride out to California (apparently my Mid April build was completed Mid May). So January order, April Build turned into a May Build and June Delivery! Bennington said trucks are so hard to find that they are now allowing individuals to pick up their boats or make other arrangements, though done at your own peril! Engine had arrived 3 weeks ago, custom trailer due Wednesday or Thursday. Soooo Close! Then the 5 hour trip to the lake..... Dealer provided this In Build picture - looks sweeet!

That looks gorgeous! Good for you! I hope once you get it you post plenty of pictures. I’m very interested in your trailer also. I bet your household will be happy to get all the “boat” things out of the way. ;)

Looks great! I have the inverse colors of you...nice choice with the blue and black. Looks great out on the water. Definitely check out the domed numbers website with the brushed aluminum for your registration numbers, I think it would pop on that color scheme you have

My 26 LXSB Arrived, final assembly being done at the dealer, P/U Saturday! Should have it in the water on the 10th. Trailer was wrong, dealer is providing me a loaner until corrected - thank you SCMG! So Excited!!!! So this week I get to install all my "customized solutions I have dreamed up": SUP Rack, WakeBoard Rack (Cradle holders both on sides using shaved Railblaza connectors), a different hinge system for the privacy curtain (I need the storage - the angled bracket takes up 30% + of the space), Must get rid of the Bimini Cable Stay brackets - mounted on the bow deck - Really!?!? (see picture), Battery Maintainer (NOCO Genius GenPro10x2), SPOT Tracker, and Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution/Sway Hitch - good thing it's a long weekend! Went with the Mercury Suggested Enertia 14.7 x 16, dealer has a 17, but with priority being hole shot and normally 1,500lbs of people and gear - the lessor pitch was the all around recommended. More pictures to come!!!! THANK YOU ALL, this forum has really been helpful in so many ways. My best - Larry

Boat is going to be a BEAST! Looks great and that 16 will treat you well. If you get heavily laden with people and fuel and are pulling and turning a lot, you may even consider a 15 or even a different prop all together (Mirage Plus gets high marks for heavy boats).

Congrats and please keep the group updated on your performance stats and other goings-on - you're the type of guy many of us can live vicariously through!

Everything looks like it is coming along well. I see what you mean by the front bimini cable stay brackets on the front deck. I get that it is likely the prime location to anchor those support stay cables. However, the toe stub factor of them as is AND having them located right next to the retractable SS cleats (so as to avoid the toe stub factor with them) is priceless.

Looks amazing! Enjoy that first rip!

Your boat looks awesome and can’t wait for some after pictures with everything on it. Seats look pretty sharp too. Get out and enjoy now!

Had the Mirage plus on our I/O for 12 yrs. Loved that prop!

Brought it home this weekend!! Dealer said he NEVER saw anybody add a Weight Distribution System - I can't imagine towing without it! I also added front tie downs, and longer rear tie downs so they were not over the underwater lights. WakeBoards would NOT fit in floor storage - that was sad - a tad too short to get our big boards in the access hole (though I bet if I removed the plastic flooring they would fit, it was that close). First round of loading went well, though we had to purge a number of items to get everything tucked away - think I need one more purge, those storage compartments are stuffed. Working this week to get a few items customized - more pictures to follow! Lake Havasu, will see you Friday!

Congrats! And that high five with the lady friend (don't want to assume anything here!) would look better with beers in the other hand. Just sayin'

That plastic floor board is easy to take out, just a few snaps and out it comes. It does create a bilge area for you so if there is water in your future stuff may get soaked. But I wish the hatch were a smidge longer as well, some things would go in and out so much easier and without playing the angles game.

Outstanding, Larry! Looks like you've now got two beauties in your life...

Finally got some good pictures of our Benny in the water - having so much fun!

Just amazed how HP has changed. Back in 2012 I started by looking at used pontoons but decided against it as most only had 60hp. Bought a new RL2275 and Most were 115 or 150. Now see boats like this

Thats a good order list, I have a tower and we do not like it, it gets in way, its too high-(have to remove NAV light to go under some bridges and to raise in our slip. You have to duck to enter from the side. The 350 will be a monster.
