The good news...My brand new 2275GCW with 150HP and SPS has been delivered to the dealer.
Prepping the boat ( motor rigging, bottom prep and paint, etc) should take about two weeks.
The bad news...based on the Yamaha Performance Bulletin for my boat, I requested that the dealer install a Yamaha Reliance Series - SDS SS prop.
The dealer does not disagree but says that the Yamaha props are backordered everywhere and would result in a significant delay in delivery.
The dealer recommends a Powertech prop. "As good or better than Yamaha...made in America...propeller specialist company...etc "
I have no reason to doubt the dealer.
However...when shopping at boat shows for my Bennington, I heard similar statements from Bennington competitors " As good or better than Bennington, etc "
Does anyone have feedback on Powertech?
Thank you.
