Sharkhide vs. Gord's

I can't find any answers on the website as how much I would need of each. Thank you though for the reply.

One quart will probably do it for a tri-toon but 2 would be better to be safe. You can put a second coat on and have some for the inevitable touch up from scrapes.

Tom, we used one on Zodapop's Q but I would buy two for the reasons you stated but two would definitely be enough. Not sure about the polish. Steve

I called Sharkhide and asked them when I was doing mine. I only used the metal protectant though.....not the polish. I will be using the polish next year instead of the Gords for two reasons:

1. I want to see if it works better.

2. I want to see if it's less messy. That Gords slings around all over the darn place. I was glad I had everything else all taped off.

Keith, I used "Rolite" on mine and you can't fault the end results but it is labor intensive and costs roughly $120 for the 4 part system. The 4th is a sealant which I would not bother to use again, just finish with Sharkhyde. I had a detailed "how I did it" in the blog section before they did away with it. Steve
