trolling motor help "again" dealer no help

If anyone wants more specific pictures, you'll have to wait a little. I won't be getting the boat out of storage until the end of this month. We got 6 inches of snow the other day and now they are saying we're supposed to get another 5 inches tonight. :(

This was great. I’m going to be doing mine out of aluminum. I also have a tritoon and under decking that complicates things but overall the same goal. Nice job

I see Carl’s repost but still not your #20 or original picture post?!?

One more thing i just thought of, with the trolling motor batteries being stored in the front seat compartment, I ran the wiring for them through the existing hole ( that goes under the deck ) that is being used for the speaker wire. From there, I ran the wiring through the 2 foot hitch receiver and then drilled a hole ( into the receiver ) closer to the front of the toon and then popped the wiring out to be closer to the trolling motor itself for hook up. At the time the "under deck " picture was taken, I hadn't ran the wiring yet. But I'll be happy to take a picture of that once I get the toon out of storage.

Weird, I can't see any of the pics either, other than Carl's

Now they're all gone.

Same as Link. Still not there except for Carl’s first. Oh well.

my apologies you guys. These pictures are off my google cloud account. Unfortunately, I don't have that phone anymore that I took the pictures with and I don't have them saved to anything else.
For whatever reason, the google cloud was acting up. I had to drag and drop vs. doing an actual upload.

I will try to get new pictures later this summer and also some pics of it in the water.

I will start a new thread when I do.

How does it operate being perpendicular to the bow?

You probably didn't see one of the first photo's I tried to upload. But it shows the trolling motor in the upright position.
I slightly angled the base so the motor/shaft doesn't hit the edge of the deck while I lower it into the water.
I can try sending that picture again,
Did that answer your question.

Hello you all, if any of you have pictures of a trolling motor on a tritoon or pontoon, I would love to see them. We want to install one and want to know ways to install it. I have called around and no one has done it but say they 'can', but I would love to see some good ideas/options for installation. Thank you

You can check out my pictures for install ideas. Note that I set mine to the left and slightly angled to allow easier walk through to the front and to the trailer ladder. Works great. Also see I put two batteries in the front right storage along with on-board charger.

Gary - That would be great! with the technology today, and the hassle of anchors, we would like to use one to keep us in place in coves for relax and swimming. Is that your intention? And we hope we can get it to be safe and not an eyesore. Thanks for responding! I have called lots of places and few said they could do it, but I want to see a few pix of good installations before we commit.
