The change over to the snaps in my opinion, probably reduces the cost of manufacturing. I feel sure the process of putting the grove in the rails for the clips was an expensive process, as well as the installation of the clips on the covers. I guess it is the new norm.
The Forklift picked the boat up at least 25 times this summer from April to October not to mention when I bought it and had it delivered last December and never any sign of a wrinkle. The boat now is stored at a covered dock out of the water. Maybe when the weather gets hot and humid again...
I put the boat up first of October last year, dry raked stored in southeast Alabama. Moved the boat last Wednesday to our new place in North Alabama 3 hours away and noticed this area toward the rear of the boat on the floor. This wrinkle was not on the floor, when stored in October. I was not...
I am going to buy a HydroHoist brand, boat lift. I have a 2021, 22 SXSR, SPS Tri Toon Package with a 200 Yamaha. The HydroHoist dealer tells me, that the center bunk is not needed unless the motor is 250HP are larger. Does anyone have any input, they could share on this topic.
2021, 22SXSR, 200 HP. Water Light Chop, Full Fuel, Top Down, One Person Fully Trimmed Out, Reliance Prop 42.5 MPH. That's about all she will do. No problem hitting the 41 MPH mark with Wife on board sitting in co-pilot seat. Basic Boat, pretty much, except for Power Steering Pump under the Helm...
Took the third Bennington out yesterday for the sea trail, before taking it down to it's new home on Lake Martin, Alabama. Traded the second Bennington for a Crest two years ago, glad to be back in the Bennington family. Nothing fancy just the 200HP, Power Steering and the Reliance Prop.
Had the same problem turned out to be the common hot lead that supplies the power to all the switches. On mine they piggy backed all the connections on plugin spaded lugs, the connections tend to break, due to the vibration or movement of the wire. It seems like they needed to put something to...
I had the same issue, it wound up being the power line that loops to all fuses that supplies voltage. The incoming connector on the first fuse before the loop started had broke. It was hard to see at first because on my 2016, but finally found the problem. I notice that the factory had tied...

On our top I added another snap on both sides that pulled the side of the top tighter. Put the snaps on the back side of the rail at about 180 degrees of the existing ones , the strap on the side of the top was to long. It was either add a snap or try and shorten the strap, adding one on the...
