ok 2 places for fuse 1 is in line from radio power wire [should be red] under helm. Other is the circit breaker [on dash I think] follow wire to which breaker it goes too flip or push circit breaker to make sure not tripped

Hi  Make sure you have ALL wires to the battery might have missed one. Maybe fuse?

Mine has a strap to go across the bimi top and pull up on the cover . Sounds like you are missing a strap!
