I sure do like my box anchor. The only issue I've had is that the bag blew off the boat and I lost it. Bought another from them for $10 and I'm back in business. I've had it for 4 years now.
We see law enforcement all of the time. They are typically just making sure everyone has a life jacket which is a very good thing. Many times if we see them near I have everyone on the boat hold up a life jacket. Officers usually just wave and keep on going.
A bunch of folks have this issue. I've seen reports of kinks in hoses but the most common issue if I recall is a filter in the line where air is going out of the tank as gas is going in. If I pump for than about a gallon every 30 seconds I can expect to be wearing gas when it burps.
Confirmation-spun propr fixed costing $150 (I had them rotate my trailer tires/change out the spare as well).
Thanks for the advice about keeping a spare and the required tools. I will look into that.
It goes into gear and will propell the boat slowly. If RPM gets over 2K the engin RPMs can go up but boat goes no faster. Something is slipping.
Did not hit anything. Was in over 36' of water/middle of the lake channel when it happened.
I've been a boater for a long time so I thought that I'd experienced just about everything once until Saturday afternoon.
We loaded up our 2012 2275GC with all our stuff and brought along another family. All goes well until we about 30 minutes from launching, maybe 2-3 miles out, going nearly...
Mine guage is about 1/8 'lower' than it should be. I can fill it to where not a single drop more will fit and the gauge reads between 3/4 and F. The trouble is I don't know if E means 1/8 or really E.
FYI-my dealer gave me 2 extra ladder hooks free of charge when mine broke. I think Benny takes good care of their customers and does not skip on small stuff like this.
My wife and I like to pick up some take out, launch the boat and watch the sun go down while we eat and take in a beverage or two. When the kids are with us, tubes, knee boards, wake boards, skis, swimming, beaching, consume 100% of our time.
