Modifying our boarding ladder....

Yup everybody I have talked to has stressed to really go all out in PT so I'll get the range of motion back and recover quicker! Not too crazy about taking all of that narcotic pain relief!

Thx for the thought! Yeah I discussed that with the welder. He says it can handle it! We'll see!

Yes I considered it! Like I said earlier I've seen it on another members boat and it looks fantastic and well built! I just need 1 fabricated rung from a local welder here and will be all set! It will have the same amount of steps in the water as the Lillipad ladder but about $1100 less expensive!

Okay couple quick updates....Had knee replacement surgery on February 26th. Went really well or so I thought.......My surgeon installed a Q ball pain pump by catheter directly in my knee and I didn't feel a thing for 3 days! Heaven! But when that pain pump started to wear out running out of medicine......I couldn't take those Hydrocodones fast enough! Long story short I was in pain for the next 5 days and that was it! Started PT and breezed right through even driving myself to PT at week 3. Don't get me wrong it was still really stiff, numb and sore but once the pain goes away it makes it a lot easier! I was able to play pickleball at 9 weeks on May 1st! Update 2....Having that welder add another rung/step to our boarding ladder makes a world of difference especially with a new knee! We now have 6 total steps to board. Money well spent! (Thx to forum member Nautical for installing/riveting the new retrieval strap! Update #3......Forum member potomacbassin has been trying to get me to remove a sacrificial anode that was installed directly in front of my Simrad transducer. Removing it would hopefully produce "clean water" so my Simrad wouldn't drop reading the depth at speed. Well we were out yesterday and removing the anode didn't work. We still lost the depth gauge at around 18 mph. Any other ideas?!?
