WOW 80 days doesn't look too bad.  Especially since it was 50 yesterday and most of the snow has melted
 
Yeah, in one week we've gone from the negatives to 50's ????? All but 70 at Christmas. Global warming my a** !!!!
 
I know there is a lot of snow ahead of us but we're almost half way through January! Come on spring!

Only 67 days until Spring ( at least on the calendar ) 
 
It is 43 here right now and I heard some birds chirping outside. They must think spring is around the corner as well!
 
We are at 37 for the second day in a row ( wont last ) some of the snow is actually gone .

Funny you mention that today ,I saw two guys yesterday morning "attempting " to take a dock out .Drove by again in the afternoon ,dock was off but they could not get the poles out ,but they did not mark them for snow mobiles .

With the cold and as much ice as there is ,our docks may not open until May .

At least the days are light longer. That always makes me feel better.
 
Just mentioned that on Friday coming home from a ski trip, just a few months ago it was pitch dark before 5pm and now still pretty light at 6pm
 
 
 
We need to see who has the first ice of from the south moving north. That might give me some hope when there is open water in Indiana or Ohio.
