I just looked at the performance data .It doesn't match what the captain told us when we went out . We went 8/16 test was 9/28

Test data shows the engine hit its rev limiter, so perhaps there were different pitch props on different days.

Yeah I'd expect more than 56 out of my 6-figure motor. Hell, I get 52 out of my "little" 350V.

On the other hand 56mph on a heavy 30 ft. boat with a 10 ft. beam and an 83 gallon fuel tank is not bad! They didn't mention how many people were onboard. I bet it was a nice ride!

70 MPH is the about the fastest you can drink beer out of a can. After that it just runs past your ear.

Drinking from a highball, you have to cover with hand when north of 50 mph!
