Hey Jack, someone dropped a lot of flour on your map. Can't see the places that you have outlined.

We're having a bit of a cool snap, but supposed to be back up around 80* near mid-next week. You guys are pushing that colder air down on us. :mad: Please keep it up there. We're ready for steady warm down here.

My buddy who bought our MI house just sent me a picture this morning showing everything is covered in snow again. It is ridiculous how long winter is lingering around.
 
It ruined our sap season too .:(

I tapped at the beginning of March ,we had a decent 1st week .then 17 days of nothing . We got 2 more boils in . In the past we were able to get 2 boils a week ,this year 3 total . We pulled the taps and plugged the trees ,last Wednesday and we cant even put the cooker away because of the snow
 
Sorry to see that you're having so much of a problem with your syrup trees. I hate it when our fruit trees get teased by the couple of warm days, then jack frost shows his ugly face again, and messes them up.

My new 2018 Bennington 21SL is scheduled for me to take ownership on Friday the 13th. I am very excited. The way this Michigan weather is going, I may re schedule the delivery out another week or two.
