Yes played with the trim all weekend. That's where the 200 rpm difference came in to play. I moved people front to back and still runs 5100 rpm tops. I was just under the assumption that these mercs should rev up to around 5800

Hi all I bought a 2013 2250gbr it has a merc 150 SPS toons and has the rear bar without the fridge. I am trying to buy a lift for it and can't seem to find out how much it would weigh ( with fluids ). Am I safe with a 4000# lift or do I need a 5000#?

It is a express tritoon. I know the max is 150 but the dealer says they can sneek a 175 on it. I'm just wondering if there is any noticeable difference in performance between the 150 and 175.

I am buying a 2014 2250gbr. Max hp rating is 150. The dealer said he might be able so sneak a 175 on it. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience between the two. Is it worth the extra grand for the 175 or is the extra 25 horse not noticeable? I'm just having a hard time going from a 320...

Thanks Jeff. Are you happy with the 200 on yours. The dealer is telling me with the 150 I could pull up a 200 lb skier. And that it should run right around 40 mph. I find that hard to believe. I'm not expecting a rocket, I realize it is what it is. I just see some people post that their 23'...

I forgot to mention. It has the 3 -25" tubes but it is the express tube package. According to Benningtons website it says that it is rated for more than 115 horse but doesn't give you the max horsepower numbers.
