We consider ourselves fortunate to live where we do 

Cleveland Clinic and UPMC Pittsburgh are nearby drives 

and not to far from Indian Lake as well

Thought it was cute.

Well, I'm still here at the James with some new battle scars. Good and hopefull news- got the hot spot out of my lung with a great margin. Hopefull side is that he found 3 lymph nodes that he didn't like and took out. 50/50 odds cancer or not. If so, some nasty nights with heavy chemo in my future. I'm hoping for the coin flip to land my way this time.

Thanks everyone. I'm finally home, well most of me. Great news-prayers work- as the lymph nodes are negative. The nodule was a sarcoma but the pathology is unsure if it's the same as what I had in my left chest wall years ago.

Heading to Sloan to see their Sarcoma specialist for a second opinion as Ohio State is seeing an mixture of Leo and osteo (bone) in the slides.

If it's Osteo, where did it come from and Chemo in the forecast. If not, wait and see as leomayo doesn't respond to chemo and radiation a second time will damage the lung too much for my age.

The new Robot that was used for my lung wedge removal was super cool. My first cancer scar looks like I was sawed in half- 7 years later: 4 one inch cuts. Amazing advancement...
