    New 2275GCW

Nice looking boat! Looks like mine except mine is black. I was on Nolin all weekend but mostly stayed up at Iberia where the water was calm. Next time I'm out I'll look for your boat as I head toward the Dam. Congrats again.

    Concerned new owner

J&M, I have a 2011 2275GCW and I do have fuel fill-up issues. The best thing for me is to fill very slowly but no matter what I have spillage. I can deal with the fuel fill-up problem because the rest of the boat is awesome. We love our boat and I'm sure you will too. Bennington boats are the...

    Box anchor size ?

I have the small one as well. It's still about 18-20 lbs. It's small enough to fit (open) under the seat up at the bow. Mine has held my boat and another 25' pontoon in choppy water.

I agree Eric. That was a pretty good flick.

How Long Have You Been Boating..What Do You Do

I spent 20 years, 1 month and 16 days serving our country in the USAF but who’s counting. I’ve been retired since Jan 2006 and now work in Food Production running Evaporators and Spray Dryers making flavor enhancers. As a kid I did some boating with my father but nothing real serious until...

    Fueling Your Bennie

My GCW does the very same thing. First time I filled up (last year) I nearly took a shower in gasoline. No matter where I fill up (on the trailer or at the marina) the gas fills the very same way. Other owners have the same problem. Once I think my gas tank is near full I barely squeeze the...

I also use the dryer sheets for the same purpose. I use sticky traps to catch any wondering spiders too. So far so good.

    Anchor and Rode Storage Ideas

I also have a box anchor and I always leave it unfolded in the box position. Mine will carefully fit under the front seat at the bow, just watch the speaker mounted inside the bottom of the seat. I also have a cheap plastic extension cord holder that I wrap my 100' rope around. It will all fit...

    Power vs. Hydraulic Steering?

Funny this question came up because I was explaining to another member (BKM) that power steering assist is one thing I wish I could change about my boat (at a reasonable price). My boat has the Seastar steering (hydraulic) and it's okay at slow speeds but at higher speeds it takes two hands to...

    Loungers or What

BKM, I have the hydraulic steering called Seastar. It doesn't steer too bad but it takes some muscle when the boat is up to speed. It's not electronic power steering where you can steer with one finger. You should not have any problems with the 90 or 115 hp motors. I borrowed this explanation...

    Loungers or What

BKM I haven't seen the double bimini that you are talking about but I can tell you I wish I had a double bimini top. I inquired about the double bimini from my dealer (In Indiana) and he said they would have to replace my original top (which only shades the middle part of the boat) with a...

    Ordered our 2275GCW today!

BKM, I just replied to your post on loungers on the Dock Talk side of the forum. Congrats again on the new Benny. I hope to see ya on Nolin when your boat arrives. We are anxiously awaiting for the lake to rise to summer pool. Last year I took my boat out on it's maiden voyage in April then...

    Loungers or What

BKM, Congrats....We are also on Nolin Lake. You will love your Benny and yes with the upgraded loungers (wrap-around padding w/speakers) you can sit facing forward or two people can sit side by side per each lounger. We sit facing forward all of the time and it doesn't pose any problems...

    Anchor system

X2...Box anchor is the next best thing. I leave my anchor open (box shape) and store it under the front seat next to the bow gate. When I pull it up from the bottom of the lake it will have mud on it so I bought a cheap back-scratcher and just scratch the mud off then submerge the anchor a few...
