Hey guys - I did try to search the forum before asking this question but only found a couple non-detailed references...

Still planning to order a QX later this year and researching all the options for washdowns or pressure washers. This boat will only be on lakes, and I don't care to have to fill a washdown tank with freshwater so I'm thinking of passing on the washdown OEM option - but still want something on board that can just use lake water and has decent pressure.

I saw one member say that they purchased a cordless pressure washer. Also thought I remembered seeing a post last year by a member who added their own washdown that just pulls lake water, but I cannot find it again.

Looking for any and all suggestions from owners on washdown options whether they be purchased or DIY. Thanks!

I have a cordless pressure washer . I got mine at amazon ,under $40 . I use it all over the house with a 5 gallon bucket when I dont feel dont feel like dragging out the full size one . When on the boat I put the hose in the lake . I liked it so much I bought a second on sale just to have the extra battery ,

Can you post the link for the one you bought?

You're Welcome.
Hope you find one that works for you.

If you have a Menards or Harbor Freight near you . I have seen them there also

I had a pile of Dewalt batteries, so went with theirs - works great - only use the low setting, with a gentle, wide spray head. However, if I could do it again, I might opt for the official washdown product so I did not have to deal with the battery issue - a few times I have forgotten them. I understand you can still have a tub that gets tossed in the lake vs a separate tank, the dealer can make this change. Further Note - the fabric instructions say to not use a pressure washer - a possible warranty issue, but probably a grey area between a pressure washer that can easily damage the furniture, and "power washer" that does not provide enough pressure to damage the seats - another reason the onboard washdown might be the better option. However, I have never used one, and the few videos I have seen suggest maybe there is a lack of pressure to properly wash down the deck, while it works well for the seats.
