I like this! and likely will do the same thing but have a question. Looking at the amazon links, I couldn't quite figure out where the piece on the back of the mirror (pic 118616649) comes from - is that part of the Lorima cup holder or the Mirror - or would I need to buy that separately?

If you buy both the mirror and the cup-holder, you're set. The cupholder has the "ball" and the mirror has the "socket". Good luck!

This is brilliant!

By the way, for all of us glass rl210/250 owners , this should work for us too. I have ordered same.

I bought this the other day , the plastic ball on the cup holder was slightly larger than the metal ball on the mirror . I was able to sand the plastic ball to make it fit.
Now if only my boat wasn't in storage already .

CLDave, thanks for "putting" this combo together. I've been looking (unsuccessfully) for a mirror for a new Bennington Pontoon (22SVSR) that we'll be taking delivery of in mid May.

Jeff

lakelifeMN, those are great-looking mirror options. I like the price range of CLDave's solution. As I said in my post reply, we're taking delivery of a new Bennington in mid May, and as all the "necessary" items come in from Amazon, Cabelas, and other sources, my wife is justifiably asking when we'll have the items all bought.

What, there is a point at which we stop buying stuff for our toons?

Well, maybe tell the wife there is, then sneak some new stuff onboard. Luckily my wife likes when I buy new cool stuff for the boat.

Does that suction cup hold up under power with your motor? Oh....never mind. :p ;)
Ha - when I'm not using it for tubing I lower the mirror to its bottom setting. It does get wiggly when I'm doing 50

Here’s a perfect and cheap solution for a ski mirror - $17 cup-holder phone car mount + $31 suction cup ski mirror. No mods necessary - the ball seat from each matches perfectly with the other. Score - and under $50!

Price is lower today ( 3/29/21 ) Both items ,under $35
