Hey all! I posted early this spring that I'd ordered a new lift - and we've now had it for about a week. I got the 6,000 pound version with a 36 foot canopy and power side curtains. This thing is fantastic! Smooth operation, the side curtains keep everything cool and a bit less dirty (less rain coming in), and I ordered the canopy long enough so I can fit my SeaDoo under the canopy and curtain as well.
One note - I originally thought I'd ordered the lift with a platform-style lift arrangement (lifting from the underdeck instead of the pontoons), but it appears I got a "free" upgrade to bunk-style, which is what I had on my old cable/winch-style lift. I was worried it would be tricky to land the boat, but the guides on this Shorestation are vastly superior to the setup I had on my old lift.
Raising/lowering the curtain takes about 4 seconds, and from full-up to in the water takes about 15 seconds for the lift. The wireless remote makes it super easy to drop in or raise up from the captain's seat.
Spendy, but worth it! Our first lift lasted us 2 boats and 15 years - this one should last at least that long.
