I wonder if it would work with my existing Bennington stock cover. I have yet to pick up my new 2024 SXSB, thus not sure have the cover works in the back.I dig that retractable rail a lot! Wish it was out in 2020 when I got my boat. For reference, it has telescoping poles that drop under cushion height after disengaging three quick-locks. I may need to look into fabbing something similar up:

Ouch! We'd love to have that rail, as my daughter really wants to be able to ride back there, but $2k is way overpriced. imo.Love the new retractable design and I am sure it will be a big hit.
Unfortunately parts are over $2k plus labor and freight. I was hoping it would be lower for my specific budget but nothing is cheap, especially stainless steel. Might have to look at a cargo net (just kidding).
Love the creative innovation which is why I am on my second Bennington. This will be in my wish list for the next one.
Thank you for Sharing!!!! WOWZA I love that. Do you happen to have a picture of the full setup - seems like a bolt on exchange.....I dig that retractable rail a lot! The only place I found is this FB post - I took a screenshot of the video: https://www.facebook.com/sealandboa...a-game-changerwe-have-these/1062755675893042/Thank you for Sharing!!!! WOWZA I love that. Do you happen to have a picture of the full setup - seems like a bolt on exchange.....
Attached is the Port side. The only place I found is this FB post - I took a screenshot of the video: https://www.facebook.com/sealandboa...a-game-changerwe-have-these/1062755675893042/
One interesting note - it looks like the rail terminates into a raised panel on the port side of the boat. That's a new/different config on swingback boats if I'm viewing it right (the video is cropped so you can't really see the whole thing very well)

Good thought about your feet hitting the keeper rail. We are debating both options and having a hard time without seeing the two in person. Did you end up going with the keeper rail or aft option?
Greetings! Although this thread is a bit old, I'm currently in need of the rail you mentioned -- were you able to get it? Thank you!
