Winter has arrived in Northern Michigan

I hear you there. I'm ready to get the boat out and enjoy a nice summer with friends and family on the lake.

For all the PADs afflicted, boat show season is right around the corner now  :)

South of you, here in TC, the ground is barely white. Lots of grass/weeds still visible. We are just getting flurries.

Outside thermometer still just says 10 degrees.

No snow on the ground anymore, Sunday almost 50 but after that highs in the 20s.....UGH!

No snow here. The lake is now ice covered though. Looks to be a cold spell next week but back to 30 by then end of the week. This winter reminds me of January 2013. The picture below was taken then when I bought this and brought it home so that is my basis for relation.

Do you belong to "Green Hulk?"  There is a very large Polaris crowd there. Lots of knowledge there since they don't make them anymore.

I've been on there in the past. Not recently though. There is alot of great members over there with a ton of information. I think user K447 or something like that is the polaris genius. That forum has a nice, post a picture of your spouse/girlfriend thread too!!! It is a little different crowd over there. We bought our ski in 2013, it is a 2001 and only had 10.8 hours on it when we bought it. It has 38 hours on it now. it goes pretty good for an old girl!

Only 4 more months until we put our boats back in the water!   LOL!

3 for me !!!! :)

I like your thinking Keith. Hopefully this cold snap will only last a week and we'll be on our way towards and early warm spring. And Dave, it is always fun seeing the pic of your toon at the docks first!

We're going to have a warm up soon. Temps in the mid 30's with a couple days @ 38 by the end of the week into next. Such an improvement over last year.

10 below in Petoskey this morning .27 below in the Gaylord area

Some 30's and high 20's in the forecast here in the 10 day. Here's to hoping we stay on this path and ease out of winter sooner than later. This is the first time I've kept a boat during the winter and it is comforting knowing I have control when it goes back in.....I'm sorry what was that honey?
