Winter has arrived in Northern Michigan

Snowing here now .
 
Then you might as well stay put :)
 
There is no way this winter can be as bad as last. This time of year goes by quick for me. It's Jan 2nd to the end of March that is a killer.
 
Woke up to a light accumulation of snow this morning in SOUTHeast Wisconsin. At first glance, it is pretty, but NOT happy about it <_<  at all. Winter is long enough to have it start in October!
 
Wow!! That is more than I thought you would get. Hopefully it doesn't get to bad this winter so you can catch up on the back order of maple syrup next spring!! Be safe on those roads. People seem to forget how to drive on that stuff until about March 1st.
 
I took those earlier today ,at least twice as much now .

Currently ,it is melting on the roads .
 
My wife just texted and said it is snowing at home. I work an hour south and just rain here.
 
Oh man ....... It's gonna be a looooooong winter ...... :-(

I hope not . They are calling for milder and less snow  . They did last season too and we know what happened then 
 
We had snow last night in Northern MN, None here where I am at and I hope it stays that way,, we will just try to forward it to all you guys in Michigan.. :D
 
Nothing for us overnight ,other than cold .Last year they were ice fishing by Thanksgiving .

I cant believe there are still boats in their slips at the marina .
 
Looks your neighbor ( to the right in the photo ) forgot that the lake level was going down . :eek:
 
I don't think they even used the boat once this year. It is not cared for that's for sure.
 
Just drove by the marina ,besides 3 boats still there ,we have Ice .

Most likely will melt soon ,but it has started .27  right now
