There are some other posts on this you can search. The best way we have found on our GL is to put one side on, like the starboard then the poles and then the port. It also helps to mark the poles so they can be extended and in the right position with little trouble. It helps that the sides...
All great advice. That's why I really like this forum. Lots to think about and some trips planned for the winter. Man, it's been raining for a week here in Wi. And temps in the 50's.
Semper is correct. It is bare metal and unlike steel that can rust this is what you get with aluminum. I have had it on other pontoons. It doesn't seem to degrade the product. We already have a water line on ours and its racked and only been in the water once, The boat is used on clear...
Ya, it's for Bennington Club members, I think. I had to go there and put in my boat profile to get the 7 year warranty. They ask for boat serial no., motor serial, etc. Funny thing, I did all this and never heard if I had the warranty or not. I do have the app on my iPad now though. I can...
Forgot to mention, Ding Darling has a kayaking tour around the sanctuary and you can strike out on your own on the interior pine island sound. I used to guide there it's a real nice and typical backwater Fl. You can also go backwater in the glades.
Wow, you folks do travel. Have fun, slow down to enjoy the local culture. I would really recommend the mangrove kayaking if you really want to get a feel for backwaters Fl. If you like to fish it's a blast from a yak. Saw a 14 foot hammerhead last year. The birds and fish are super cool
I want to query the Bennington family regarding quality toon waters.
To set the scene. We live in Fl. During the winters and travel north in the summers. Problem it is cold, rainy a lot of the time and a long trip each year. Don't get me wrong, it is beautiful.
We would like to be closer to...
We live in Cape Coral. Currently in central Wi freezing our A..... Off in the cold rain and low temps.
One thing to remember, a week is not nearly enough time if yor re driving all the way to
Key West.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so whatever you like. We really enjoy kayaking the...
Looking at a jump box for mine. Any problems with this solution?
Less money. Less weight. Seems like the solution to me. But then again, what do I know. Over 60 two kids and married. Get drumber every day.
First time out in our GL my wife and I put the cover on when we returned. We had a real hard rain and the next day we found a pool water on the cover near the front, also a wet floor near the back. We had the cup holders near the front and one was full of water. No water under the sats.
We...
Pics? Pics you say. Ok. I'll ask my wife how to do it, pics that is. I'm lucky I can type on this iPad. Tomorrow it will be pics. Tonite we are in the midst of big storms here in wisconsin.
Hope this isn't to far off the subject. By the way, that flushing discussion in the tech section...
Took the new 2013 2275GL for its first ride today. All I can say is wow. This ain't my old 2001 Sweetwater. What a boat and the ride. It,s all we had hoped it would be.
Only thing I had a problem with we're the dash mounted toggle switches. Not a problem really, but what position is what...
