How would you like to be a deer hunter sitting in your stand on a beautiful sunny fall day when some yahoo drops down swinging a Stihl MS 800000 pro and starts shredding your woods.

Skyraider. Last of the great propeller planes

B-17G model (chin turret). Sadly she crashed a year or so ago.

My son the pilot from Wicked Wabbit P-47 Thunderbolt. Even the pilots dress the times. Even a USO show at the end of the day at the show. If you are in Michigan, it is a air show you cannot miss. Aug 10t and 11th this year. WOrlds only flying ME262 Swallow and RAF Mosquito will be at the show this year. WWII re-enactments and a Vietnam battle re-enactment too

Here is part of the "story". Nov 20th 2010 OSU vs. Iowa (good game too even though Iowa lost)

The Air Force said last month the four Talon T-38 jets were at an altitude 16 feet above the stadium’s press box and cleared the scoreboard by 58 feet during the flyover, which amazed fans and was meant to honor military veterans. Their altitude of 176 feet above ground level was far below the 1,000-foot minimum elevation required for flights above a populated area. The jets were also above the speed limit.

I was there and this was AWESOME!

Nice pics Todd. I am fortunate enough to live within 30 miles of the Air Force Museum in Dayton.. If you have not been there, it is well worth it. My Uncle was a Colonel in the Air Force and flew the B-24, the "Strawberry Bitch", into the museum in the 50s' . Just some wonderful displays: one of the B-29s' that dropped the atomic bomb and even Glenn Millers trombone who was lost over the English Channel during the War. Gerry

Here's a pic of some of my RC plane collection. Some are gone now, but still have quite a few ....
