Well decided to take the lights off the boat from the Christmas parade....or just another excuse to take the boat out for a quick spin. Don't get to jealous, it was about 50 out even though it looks warmer.

Yesterday, we took our new-to-us Bennington out for the very first time since we bought it last November. Had a great time, everything ran really well. Still learning some of the quirks, and still have a few repairs to do, but it did not detract from the great fun with kids and grandkids. Beautiful weather on Lake Conroe (north of Houston) , partly cloudy, low 70s, a little breezy. I even did a passable job of docking at a waterfront restaurant with 50+ people watching!
Today looks even better... We're thinking of exploring Lake Livingston.

We visited lake conroe at the end of 2016 as we were considering moving there. Really liked that area. We also drove out to lake livingston as well. Weird how two lane back roads are 70 MPH in TX! Happy to hear the boat ran well and you wont end up on youtube crashing into the restaurant dock!

Thank you, we LOVE it! LOL.... far from it, we are on a 20 horse power restricted lake. It’s all show no go! !!
