. This one I made has uses two 8 inch lengths and the tee, so the width equals about 17 1/2 inches. I didn't glue these in so I can take it apart to store easier.AWK
Sorry, I forgot about this. I made another this evening, and it reminded me. I used 1 1/4 schedule 40. . I chamfered the edge slightly then used my heat gun to soften the PVC... Auger slides right in. Drilled the hole in the PVC, and put the bolt through. I think I will give this one a...
Anyone esle here receive the Yamaha Recall for the fuel line. F4 ~ F70 outboard motors and NOA specification portable fuel tanks. Called my dealer, they say it doesn't pretain to my 20SML since it doesn't have a "portable" tank. The dealer hasn't read the recall yet. Yamaha says the...
I have a enclosure on my 20SLM. Tried to put a port-a-potty in there and there was no way to get into the room with it in there. So, I moved my battery back about 8 inches (had to extend the neg battery cable) built a platform (raised the potty about 8 inches) over the wire conduit through...
. Home many times have you pulled your boat North? My 28 ft car hauler pulls MUCH better and easier than this little 20 ft pontoon! I pulled it up, and didn't pull it back home. We now rack store it at Torch, Dewitt Marina
Don't rule out Torch! 19 miles long and connected to Clam, Bellaire, Skegemog, and Elk. Record Muskie taken out of Bellaire last year. You can boat for days and never see the same thing. When your done, head over the the sandbar for some interesting views.
Let me check... I forgot the actual size and don't want to lead you wrong. I glued the tee at the top and a single bolt at the auger. I will see my boat this weekend.
I made my own version using a sand auger and PVC. Paint it up and make it your own. Easy to find. I made it to fit easy under the seat and tall enough to stick out of the water on the Torch sand bar...
TORCH! Best chain of lakes. We keep our boat on Clam Lake, just down from the Dockside. We will be on the lake every Friday through Sunday in July/Aug.
Toon'd Out, I bring up an old post, but think it's a good time to do it as I bet I'm not the only one looking to mount a grill. You have had some time to use this grill now, would you do it again or would you change anything? I have the same grill and same mount. Planning on installing in...
I work at the RenCen and see the River all day long. Pontoons is not a boat I see down there. Wind, shifty currents, and large ship traffic is why I think people don't boat it with Pontoons. Don't really see many on Lake St Clair either. Good luck!
Adam2012.. I'm still searching for the best bumper. I picked up (4) 5.5 x 20 last year and have found them to be somewhat useless. The post on the dock are thicker than the bumper! I just picked up (4) 8.5 x 26 and will try these next year. The only down side I can see with the bigger...
