Picked up a new 26' M Series today. Very impressed with the build quality, and design of this new line!
Bennington really hit a home run with this one!

Congratulations !

Congratulations! Very sharp looking. Love it!

Wow, that's a beautiful boat. Congratulations.
I think that what mine (when I get it in May) wants to be when it grows up.

Nice build! Get some protectant on those purdy, shiny toons ASAP and before you put it in the water - you'll thank me later. I skipped sharkhide my first season and wish I would've done it before - I had to acid-etch the pontoons after the first season to get back to baseline.

May I ask here, would a Ceramic coat be helpful? We are having that done to ours before delivery, and it will only be used in a clear lake, and on a lift when not in use.

Bennington no longer uses Sharkhide. They now use a product called Metal Jacket.
There is another product from the same company ( s-g marine) has called Hull Jacket. Which is " supposed " to last for years vs weeks when in a slip all season . I am having my dealer apply it to mine before I launch next month.
I currently have Sharkhide applied on mine and it has to be completely removed . But to answer your question, Yes a coating does help. The slime will come off easier.
Also slime build up will interfere with your performance .

Thank you. While I was told Metal jacket should have been applied @ no charge to toons prior to shipping ,( as it was a winter boat I ordered). I could not verify that it had and appeared to me it was not. I used Sharkhide on first Benne w pretty good success so yes I have applied it to all aluminum- twice!
Also have applied a ceramic coating to all exterior other than aluminum. Nothing super high end but w proper maintenance should get the results I am looking for. Boat is kept on a lift in freshwater lake.

I picked up mine in August last year. We got a few trips in last year, and we're stoked to start wearing it out this summer! Ours has the oval shaped center toon and handles nicely! I got all the warranty stuff handled over the winter. We're ready!!!
