THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS

And so it begins …:(
Boat pulled and put in storage for its 5 month nap.

Luckily, our dealer drops us in first and it’s usually the first boat on the docks, typically April 1st weather permitting. Our dealer takes good care of us. Then again, I try to take care of them too … donuts do wonders. LOL!!!

Slowly but surely ….

Taking mine out tomorrow...have a nice stretch of 70 degree days here in Texas. As I told my wife, "I dont want to have to drive to the lake tomorrow to take her out, I have to, keep the engine healthy and fluids circulating" ;)

These were taken yesterday....

hopefully winter goes by quickly for my northern brothers

This year is going to be another year year of minimal use of the boat - sad to say.

We're getting ready to put our house on the market in the spring and move into a rental while our next home is built. And, I'm possibly going to 'retire' for about one day and then start working for a client, running the company I helped him build as his banker.

Maybe once we're in the rental and weekend maintenance chores subside, we'll get some time.

Under 30!!! WooHoo!!!!

The way fuel prices are going that may be true (minimal use) for a lot of people, myself included. We just bought a camper on Norris Lake, TN and will have our boat on a slip at the marina, so we'll be spending a lot of weekends camping and boating. Luckily, we have a friend there with a floating house so we may be spending a lot of time at his house instead of burning fuel on the water.
