Got another 294 gallons of that liquid/gas "Gold" called....... propane...... yesterday in the middle of hopefully the last 8 inches of the year of that white stuff.............The last time they came back in the end of  December it was $2.64 a gallon...........Yesterday it was $3.39....................

I pre-bought 750 gallons last August @$1.99 a gallon .With as cold as it has been I hope I have enough for the season .It had been up as high s $6.50 in the U.P

Good thing is, the only things  we have that use's the liquid gold is our furnace and our BBQ has a  direct connection

We have propane heat in the main level and basement zone. (Heat pump in the upper level zone) Propane gas cooktop and hot water. Just had that 500 gallon sunken tank filled for 2nd time this season............ching ching...............

76 here today and mowed the lawn.     B)
 
39 and raining might snow tonight and I kicked the neighbors dog.
 
Almost made 50 on Tuesday ,down to 7 below Wednesday night .

Don't know if its true or not ,I was talking to some long time locals about the ice on ,Crooked ,Pickerel ,Burt and Mullet lake .

They told me that thanks to the early snow and the depth of the snow , the ice that formed early was insulated . Once the snow melts ,that it should not take long for the ice to melt .

52 yesterday with some nice sun, no coat.  Went up to the marina and Adam is working on his used 35' Donzi.  He just purchased 2 Yamaha F300 for the rear end with all the Yamaha controls.  He and his wife are driving it down south to launch it and is going to Bermuda.  Good news is weatherman has revised the forecast, mid 30's today so probably rain instead of snow
 
I feel bad as I'm in the house sick and the wife is out snowblowing. I was hoping we were done with this sh!t.

Yesterday I posted the weatherman revised his forecast from snow to rain.  Good thing he changed it because this morning I woke up to 5.5" of white crap and I would have hated him ruining his streak of being 100% wrong this winter
 
If I had been wrong at my job one tenth as much as a weather man ,I would have never made it to retirement .
