Looks Great, I would love to do a trip like that. There is a loop like that in NY utilizing the Erie Canal, rivers including the St Lawrence. Did you sleep on board? If so what was your set up?

That’s awesome. Some day I’ll take an adventure like that …. :)

Yes, I slept on board on a tall air mattress between the front couches. I took a 2 man pop-up tent, but only used it twice. I used 7'x9' blue tarps with clips attached to the bimini(see the pix) to block the sun, wind, and public view as needed around the boat. The tarps worked great as the weather was fabulous 95% of the trip, and the bugs only bothered me a couple nights!! Took a 58qt. 12 volt fridge/freezer for my food and ice for drinks. A cooler was used for water bottles and condiments, but may not use on future trips. Pix show my gallery setup behind the helm seat, and it worked great. My Cuisinart bbq also fit on the gallery table for streaks, chicken, and burgers. 5 gallon bucket, snap-on toilet seat(Amazon), 8gal plastic bags, and cedar chip bedding from Rural.King for my head.(no smell at all.) Stayed at a Marina every 2nd or 3rd night for a shower, and did laundry once on the trip. I put a 100w flexable solar panel on the back of the bimini hooked to a 75ah 12v battery to power the freezer during the night. It would recharge the battery by noon...

Saved this post for ideas in the future. Really intrigued by your trip, and your simple ideas for pulling off traveling and staying on your boat. Very nice!
